Privacy Policy
Information on the processing of personal data
Scope
This Privacy Policy informs users about the nature, scope and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider, CXMXO UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Hansaring 1, 50670 Cologne, Germany, office@cxmxo.com, on the website https://helicoptercharter.one (hereinafter the “Service”). The legal basis for data protection can be found in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
Access Data / Server Log Files
The provider (or its web hosting provider) collects data about every access to the Service (so-called server log files). Access data includes: name of the web page accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing and optimizing the Service. However, the provider reserves the right to review the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete indications.
Contact and Charter Request
When you contact the provider (for example via the request form or email), your details (name, email address, optionally phone number, travel requirements such as departure location, destination, date, number of passengers, and message) are stored for the purpose of processing the request and in case follow-up questions arise. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).
To obtain a quote, we pass on the details required for the flight to the air carrier (operator) you have requested. To prevent abuse, we store a shortened hash of the IP address and, where available, the referral parameters (UTM) of the site visit. Request data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Customer Account
A customer account is optional. Sign-in is passwordless, using a one-time link sent to the email address you provide. In your account you can see your requests and their status. Saved destinations and models (favorites) are stored exclusively locally in your browser. You can export your data in the account at any time or delete the account together with personal request data.
Newsletter
With the newsletter, we inform you about us and our offers. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we need a valid email address from you. We also store the time of sign-up. No further data is collected. This data is used only for sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties. We use a double opt-in procedure: your subscription only becomes active after you confirm it via a link sent to your email address. You can withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us using the contact details above.
Integration of Third-Party Services and Content
Within this online service, third-party content, such as map material, may be embedded. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter “third-party providers”) can see the users' IP address, because without the IP address they could not send the content to the respective user's browser. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We endeavor to use only content whose providers use the IP address solely to deliver the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, for example for statistical purposes.
Map: An interactive map is displayed on the Destinations page. It is rendered with the locally hosted Leaflet library and locally stored country borders (Natural Earth). No map tiles or data from third-party providers are loaded, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
Cookies and Local Storage
Cookies are small files that make it possible to store specific, device-related information on the user's access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). On the one hand, they serve the user-friendliness of websites and thus the users (e.g., storing login data). On the other hand, they are used to collect statistical data on website usage and to analyze it in order to improve the Service. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. Please note, however, that use of the site, and in particular ease of use, will be limited without cookies.
The following are technically necessary: a session cookie for form protection and login, a cookie that records the origin of a request (30 days, only when the site is accessed with UTM parameters), and local storage of your cookie choice, your favorites and the notices about installing the app. We set statistics cookies only with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the page footer.
You can manage many companies' online advertising cookies via the US site aboutads.info/choices or the EU site youronlinechoices.com.
Google Analytics
If you consent, this Service uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on the users' computer and that enable an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there; a transfer to the USA may take place.
IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services related to website and internet use to the website operator. Among other things, page views, clicks on request and share buttons, and the submission of a request (without name or email address) are recorded.
Users can prevent the storage of cookies by configuring their browser software accordingly, or withdraw their consent at any time via “Cookie settings”. They can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
Hosting and Email Delivery
The website is operated on servers in Germany. Emails (confirmations, login links, status updates) are sent via an email provider.
Withdrawal, Changes, Corrections and Updates
Upon request, the user has the right to receive information free of charge about the personal data stored about them. In addition, the user has the right to rectification of incorrect data and to blocking and erasure of their personal data, insofar as no statutory retention obligation prevents this.
